A mother and son team who are passionate about animals.

The Old Dairy Dog Hotel will be the third establishment of this kind that Hilary has developed over a period of some thirty years.

The previous two were far bigger concerns but the concept has always been the same, to offer the very best love and care to our guests.

Hilary has bred GSD's for almost forty years,initially training and competing successfully in Obedience and Working Trials as well as doing well in the show ring some years ago.Family and business life took over and sadly the competing had to go due to lack of time.

It was then that the first 'Conquell' training kennels were developed back in 1984 in Devon,we were the first dedicated training kennels to offer what became the popular residential training courses for dogs.

Several years later a move to Berkshire saw the development of Oakwood Park Kennels and training centre,having operated and built the business for many years then saw a move to Spain followed a few years on to a return to the UK to Wales which is where we are now.

It was felt that whilst there are plenty of kennels in the area few offered the very personal approach to dog care that we have always prided ourselves in giving,hence us deciding to keep to just a very small number of kennels to enable us to give that 'special' care to our guests,we care for them as we would like our own dogs to be cared for,plenty of love,plenty of fun and plenty of varied exercise,boredom is not on the agenda.
